Paris  City Info
          Paris is the capital and the largest city in  France. It is considered one of the most important cities in Europe and one of  the most beautiful cities in the world. Paris is often called "the city of  love" due to the beautiful traditional architecture and the amazing statues and  monuments throughout the city as well as the romantic atmosphere at night when  Paris is bathing in lights and the surroundings engender a romantic feel with  fascinating natural setting. Paris is also the capital of food and wine. French  operas and Ballets are between the most famous in Europe. The city is also  considered the capital of fashion where every year the Paris Fashion Week  attracts millions of people.
          
            - Eiffel Tower: Perhaps one of the most iconic towers in the world the Eiffel Tower attracts more than 6 million people every year. The Tower was constructed in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel the Tower offers wonderful views of Paris and is well known by its graceful and refined structure. There are two lift that can take you to the top of the Tower, the Tower also has two restaurants. During the night the Eiffel Tower is completely illuminated creating one of the most beautiful scenes. There are guided tours of the Tower and its surroundings throughout the day the Eiffel Tower is open all year around from 9am to 11pm.
 
            - Notre  Dame de Paris (Our lady of Paris): this breathtaking cathedral was built around 1160 in the Gothic style. It is still in utilized as the Catholic Cathedral of Paris. It is possible to climb the 400 steps to the top of Notre Dame where it is possible to have amazing views of Paris. The cathedral is free to access and is open all year around from 8 am to 6:45 pm.
 
            - The Louvre: In 1793 The Louvre was established after the French Revolution and nowadays, attracts over 6 million people every year. The museum presents an extensive and unique collection of sculptures, paintings, decorative arts and drawings including the world-famous painting of Leonardo da Vinci, Mona Lisa (La Gioconda).
 
          
         
        
        Airport Info 
          Paris Charles De Gaulle airport is one of the  busiest airport in the world and the second busiest in Europe Paris airport  receives over 58 million people every year. The airport has 3 terminals and is  going through extensive expansions due to finish in 2012 creating 2 extra  terminals. The airport is currently the hub for AirFrance, Delta Air Lines,  Easy Jet and FedEX Express.
        Location
Paris airport is located 25 km (16 mi) north east of the city centre.
        Facilities
Facilities at Paris CDG include a vast range of shops,  tax and duty-free stores offering a large selection of goods, there is also a  beauty spa and several hairdressers and play area for children. The airport  presents a vast choice of bars and restaurants as well as food outlets. There  is also an international currency exchange and a bureau de change. Several car rental companies are  presented in the airport including Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz.
         
		
          To and from the airport
 By Taxi
          There are taxis available outside terminals 1 and 2. The taxis operate 24hrs 7 days a week. The average fair to Paris city centre is around 50 Euros. There are several taxi companies covering the airport area and you can find more information at the exit of the baggage reclaim area of your terminal.
          By Bus
          There are several buses that travel from the airport  to Paris city centre. You  can find more information on the bus stand outside the airport. 
          By Train
          There are regular trains available from the airport to  Paris city centre every 10 minutes. The station is called "Aeroport Charles de  Gaulle 2-TGV" and is situated between terminals 2C-2D and 2E-2F. You can also  take the free CDGVAL suttle train from terminals 1 and 3 to the train station  on terminal 2.
          By Car
            The airport is located with the A1  motorway running along the eastern perimeter of the grounds and you can take  the exit at junction 6 signposted 'Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle'. From  paris city centre take the A1 via Porte de la Chapelle. Alternatively, take the A3  via Porte de Bagnolet there are signs directing to the airport throughout the motorways. Paris  airport has short and long-stay parking options.
